I keep reading articles and seeing various media mentions that highlight as gospel the WSJ poll that was the subject of my last post. The WSJ article claimed that America and Americans have undergone a terrible decline in values.

My post showed that the WSJ article misrepresented the numbers. I called it a bamboozle, because it was and because it gave me joy to use that word!

I’m fed up with doom and gloom reporting that ignores accuracy and misinforms. Especially when it denigrates America. I am both very and somewhat patriotic!

My favor is to ask you to share this post with friends and family in the hope that it will help shine a light on the truth.

I’m confused. They overstated the numbers, but your more accurate analysis also shows a big decline in values. I take polls skeptically in general, especially since many people don’t answer them any more. But taken on the terms of the poll, isn’t their takeaway basically correct?
