Do you find an occasional deeper dive like this valuable? And is the video format helpful?

I enjoyed the new format, especially in this case because I read the book. The discussion was informative. Thanks for sharing it.

I find this video discussion interesting and inspiring. I like the topics of forgiveness and the complexity of human motivations. Look forward to reading more about your perspectives on these issues and future video interviews too.

I would like to read the three chapters of Primo Levi's book on line that you and Al mention at the end of the Discussion -- could you please let me know the simplest way to do this

Thanks

That is one classic book review: "Don't read the first chapter!" To your question: I don't know if there is a general rule to follow, but with this one, you certainly added value to your article. You might have added it to the end of the article to keep the subject matter in one place but this is good enough. Just a beautiful treatment of a delicate and important subject. I happy to learn that such high-level discussion about morality is taking place at all, nowadays. And a great little love story at the end. A+ all around! One technical tip: move the lamp.

Thanks Ehud,

You are not the only one to comment on my poor lighting. Not my forte! I'll do better.

Really appreciate your thoughtful comments. This was my first video, so I will definitely be refining my technique.

Best,

David

I truly enjoyed the interchange and found the notion of secondary witnesses in regard to the Holocaust very significant.

Pardon the pun but David I think you found your element. Well done.
