You might want to try Connections- a new game in the NYTimes. Its concept is very similar to Codenames.
It is especially fun when munching on a Snickers bar or perhaps Lays potato chips with a sour cream and onion dip when playing with more than one player.
Sounds like a fun game! My kids are intensely competitive right now (and intensely frustrated any time they lose) so I feel like we need more cooperation games but I’ll keep it in mind
